These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Borderline (“the Service”), operated by Enjoy Software Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using Borderline, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Who can use Borderline
Borderline is intended for use by the general public. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
By using Borderline, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Accounts and access
You may use Borderline without creating an account. Some features may require signing in using a third-party provider such as Google, Facebook, or Microsoft.
When you sign in, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use Borderline only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:
- violate any applicable laws or regulations
- interfere with or disrupt the Service
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- abuse, exploit, or manipulate gameplay or scoring systems
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe these Terms have been violated.
4. Game data and progress
Borderline records gameplay data such as scores, guesses, and completion times. This data is used to operate the game and provide features such as leaderboards.
We do not guarantee that gameplay data or progress will be preserved indefinitely.
5. Intellectual property
Borderline, including its design, code, graphics, text, and game mechanics, is owned by Enjoy Software Pty Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
6. Third-party services
Borderline relies on third-party services for authentication, hosting, and analytics. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Borderline at any time, with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors.
8. Disclaimer
Borderline is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enjoy Software Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Borderline.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Termination
You may stop using Borderline at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, particularly if these Terms are violated.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
