Extreme Country Outline Quiz
Extreme mode is Hard mode’s meaner, more obscure cousin. No outlines, no big familiar countries — just small islands, remote territories, and shapes that trigger the phrase: “I swear I’ve seen this before.”
This is where Borderline flexes its territories obsession. You’re not just guessing countries; you’re dealing with the world’s margins: dependencies, overseas territories, and tiny landmasses with big “gotcha” energy.
What makes Extreme mode different
- Only small islands and territories appear
- No outlines or geographic context
- Subtle shapes, unfamiliar names, and brutal lookalikes
- Designed to expose even advanced blind spots
Scoring in Extreme mode
- Maximum score: 2000 points
- Wrong guess: −200 points
- Time penalty: −10 points per second
Extreme mode rewards players who’ve internalised the weird corners of the map. If you score well here, you’re either excellent… or deeply unwell. Respect.
